As you may have already understood, I really like ethnic cuisine, but above all, I love mixing flavors in search of new aromas, new tastes, and unique dishes. These Spaghetti with Cabbage, Sausage, and Soy Sauce are an excellent blend of Eastern and Italian cuisine.
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Inexpensive
- Preparation time: 30 Minutes
- Portions: 4/5 people
- Cooking methods: Stovetop
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 10.5 oz Spaghetti
- 1.8 oz onion (1 small onion)
- 7.1 oz pork sausage
- 3.5 oz Carrots (1 large carrot)
- 3.5 oz Cabbage (about ten leaves)
- 5 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 3.5 oz canned bamboo shoots
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 3 teaspoons Coarse salt
Preparation
Wash, peel the carrot, and cut it into strips.
Clean the cabbage, remove the hard parts, wash it, and cut it into strips.
Now take the onion, clean it, and chop it finely.
In a wok, add the oil and carrot, cook for a few minutes.
At this point, add the onion and the skinless sausage, trying to crumble it as much as possible.
Cook for 5 minutes.
Now add the cabbage, bamboo shoots, soy sauce, mix well, and cook for another 20 minutes.
In a pot, bring plenty of water to a boil, add salt and the spaghetti.
Three minutes before the cooking time, drain them with a spaghetti ladle, put them directly into the wok with the sauce, and finish cooking.
If it seems too dry, add a bit of cooking water.
Mix well and serve hot.
