Here is an impressive appetizer that you can prepare in a very short time, perfect for the Christmas holidays, but also when you’re in a hurry and want to impress your guests. This Puff Pastry Star with Emmental and Speck will not disappoint you.

Ingredients
- 2 Round Puff Pastry of 8 oz each
- 4.2 oz Speck slices
- 5.3 oz Emmental slices
- 3 teaspoons Genoese Pesto
Preparation
Unroll the first puff pastry sheet, place it on a sheet of parchment paper, already on the oven tray, and cover it with the speck slices.
Place the Emmental slices on top.
Cover with the second puff pastry sheet.
Place a glass in the center, cut with scissors or a knife first into four parts, then into 8, and finally into 16 wedges.
Twist each pair of wedges towards the inside and try to join the ends.
Proceed this way for all the wedges
Place 2 or 3 teaspoons of pesto in the circle that formed after removing the glass.
Bake in the oven at 356°F for 25 minutes
Tips/Suggestions
In the central part, you can alternatively put sesame seeds, chopped black olives, or leave it plain.
