They are truly delicious, you can make them with either ricotta or mascarpone. In this recipe, I chose to make Coconut Balls with Mascarpone and I assure you they are like cherries, one leads to another. A must-try during the holidays and not just then!

Ingredients
- 1.76 oz vanilla wafer
- 5.29 oz Mascarpone
- 0.71 oz Powdered sugar
- 0.71 oz Grated coconut (in the mixture + necessary for coating)
- 20 Blanched almonds
Preparation
Break the vanilla wafers into pieces and put them in a blender, blend until you get a fine flour.
Now place the mascarpone, powdered sugar, and 0.71 oz of grated coconut in a bowl.
Combine them with a fork or, if you prefer, with your hands.
Take a bit of the mixture and put it in your hand.
Place the almond on top and cover with a little bit of the mixture.
Form balls by rolling them in your palms.
You will get about 20 balls weighing approximately 0.42 oz each (including the almond in the center).
Place the balls in the grated coconut and roll them to coat well.
Put them in the fridge for at least an hour.
Tips/Advice
Since I don’t like overly large sweets, I made rather small balls weighing about 0.42 oz each.
