Puff pastries with jam and canned peaches are really excellent and quick to prepare, if you want a delicious little treat for your breakfast and have little time, here’s the solution!
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Cheap
- Preparation time: 15 Minutes
- Portions: 5 puff pastries
- Cooking methods: Oven
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 1 puff pastry (rectangular, 9.5 oz)
- 2 tablespoons jam
- 7 oz peaches (canned, drained)
Preparation
Take the rectangular puff pastry (width approx. 14 inches and height approx. 12 inches). Divide it into 5 strips about 3 inches wide (I used a pizza cutter to cut it). Spread a thin layer of jam on half of the strip, cover it with canned peaches. On the other half of the strip, make two small cuts using the pizza cutter. Slightly moisten the edges with water, close the pastry and seal the edges using a fork. Place the puff pastries on the baking tray lined with parchment paper and cook at 355°F for about 20 minutes.
If you don’t have rectangular puff pastry, but use round puff pastry, in the photos you can see how to close the pouch without wasting even a piece of pastry.
