Chicken rolls can be prepared with various ingredients, they are truly versatile and lend themselves to numerous and tasty recipes. Today I prepared these Baked Chicken Rolls with Bacon and Cheese, using the stretched curd cheese that is usually put on pizza, a delicacy!

Ingredients
- 2.2 lbs chicken breast (sliced)
- 7 oz cheese (stretched curd)
- 10.5 oz rolled bacon (sliced)
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 3 eggs
- 2 pinches fine salt
- 1 pinch black pepper (ground)
Preparation
Lightly pound the chicken slices with a meat tenderizer, covering them with a sheet of parchment paper. Cut the cheese into strips about a finger thick and about 3/4 inch long (obviously it depends on the size of the chicken slices). Wrap a piece of cheese with each slice of chicken breast, then wrap the rolls in bacon. Place the flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs in three separate bowls. Using kitchen tongs, take each roll, flour it, then dip it in beaten egg with a bit of salt and pepper, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20/25 minutes at 356°F
Notes
The amounts of flour and breadcrumbs can vary depending on the size and how much the chicken slices absorb.
