I love cookies, made with a variety of ingredients, presented in different shapes and with the most imaginative decorations. These strawberry and lemon-scented cookies will be a hit, I had to secretly set aside a few to take the photo!

Ingredients
- 7 oz Strawberries
- 2 tbsps Powdered sugar (lemon flavored)
- 1 cup Powdered sugar
- 1 Lemon juice
- 1 Egg
- 7 tbsps Butter
- 2 cups Cornstarch
- 2 tsps Baking soda
- 1 Lemon zest (grated zest of one lemon)
Preparation
Place the chopped strawberries with a tablespoon of sugar and the juice of half a lemon in a food processor and blend until pureed.
Put the egg with the powdered sugar in a mixer bowl and beat until the mixture is slightly frothy.
Add the butter cut into small pieces gradually, the egg, cornstarch, baking soda, strawberry puree, and grated lemon zest, mixing at medium speed.
Using a piping bag with a slightly wide nozzle (about 0.4 inches), make cookies about 2 to 2.5 inches in diameter.
Bake at 338°F for about 20 minutes.
Decorate as desired
Notes
If you don’t have lemon-flavored powdered sugar, you can use regular powdered sugar.
You can decorate the cookies with your creativity: I used a mix of chocolate decorations (stars, balls, and reindeer antlers), gelatin pencils for decorating and as glue (yellow and green), mini raspberry jelly candies (the reindeer’s nose).
To always have strawberries ready, you can freeze them: clean them, cut into pieces, season with sugar, lemon juice, and freeze them in bags.
