Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup celeriac (already cleaned)
  • 3/4 cup carrots (already cleaned)
  • 1/3 cup cooked ham (diced)
  • 1/3 cup Emmental cheese (diced)
  • to taste salt

How to make capricious salad

  • To prepare the capricious salad, first cut the carrots lengthwise, then into sticks with a maximum thickness of 1/8 inch. Do the same for the celeriac and set aside.

  • In a large bowl, put the mayonnaise, add the carrots, celeriac, cooked ham, and Emmental cheese. Adjust with salt and pepper, mixing thoroughly to combine the ingredients.

  • Cover with plastic wrap and let rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before using.
