Soft hazelnut roll. Easy to make and exquisite in its simplicity. You just need a little time to let the dough rise and then the roll. The result will be more than satisfying.
Just knead the ingredients, such as flour, eggs, milk and brewer’s yeast; spread the chocolate and hazelnut cream and wait again. Little work but a great breakfast.

Steps to Make This Tasty Soft Roll
I recommend dedicating the right amount of time to the dough to get the best results.
In a stand mixer or bowl, add the flour, hazelnut flour, sugar, and brewer’s yeast dissolved in half of the warm milk, and the egg. Start kneading and add the rest of the milk. Finally, add the room temperature butter. Knead for a long time until you get an elastic and smooth dough. About 6/7 minutes.
Transfer to the work surface and roll out, create a rectangle, and make a three-fold, then another. A square will form, which you will let rise until it doubles in size.
The soft and elastic dough is ready for filling.
Roll out and fill with hazelnut cream. I used the cream I prepare with my hazelnuts and cocoa.
Roll it up and decorate the surface as you like.
Place in a loaf pan and let it rise. A brush with milk and yolk. Sprinkle the sugar crystals and bake at 340°F until cooked. It will take about 40 minutes. Always do the toothpick test.
Your roll is ready.
I recommend waiting for it to cool before cutting.
Rich in calories and taste. A nice walk and off you go!
A Few More Tips
You can also prepare the first dough and let it rest overnight in the refrigerator if you prefer to bake in the morning for a late festive breakfast. Great for a snack accompanied by aromatic tea. During rising, cover with a damp cloth to prevent the surface from drying out. You can use the oven with a cup of boiling water to speed up rising, or special rising boxes.
