Tools

What I need to prepare

  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Chopping board
  • 1 Chopper or the Bimby
  • 2 Bowls
  • 1 Pan

Steps

To prepare

  • Start with the chicken breast, which you need to cut into pieces, making sure to remove any small bones and tendons.

    chicken breast
  • Place it in a food processor along with the egg and chop it finely, as much as you can.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl, where you will add the breadcrumbs, roast seasonings to taste, a pinch of salt and pepper, mix with your hands or a spoon.

  • Form balls about 3/4 inch in diameter.

  • Now in another bowl, prepare the breading by combining breadcrumbs or cornflake flour, season to taste with salt and seasonings, smoked paprika, and turmeric, and mix well. You will see a golden breading emerge. If you want a crunchier effect, I recommend using the cornflakes ground into flour for the breading.

  • Take a breaded ball and shape it into a point with the fold between your thumb and index finger, press lightly with the thumb and index finger of the other hand to flatten

  • Flatten the base and here

  • Or in an air fryer with a spray of oil, at 400°F for 10 minutes after preheating, and halfway through cooking you need to turn them.
You can also cook them in a traditional deep fryer at 400°F until they appear golden.

  • Transfer the chicken nuggets to a sheet of absorbent paper to absorb excess oil.
Serve hot with a side of baked potatoes or salad.
