  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Steps

To prepare

  • Let’s start with the chicken breast, which you need to cut into pieces, carefully removing bones and tendons.

  • Put it in a food processor together with the egg and chop it finely, as much as you can.
    Transfer the blend into a bowl, where you will add the breadcrumbs, roast spices to taste, a pinch of salt, and pepper, and knead with your hands or a spoon.

  • Form balls about 0.75 inches in diameter.

  • Now in another bowl prepare the breading by combining breadcrumbs or corn flakes flour, season with salt and spices to taste, smoked paprika, and turmeric, and mix well. You’ll see it results in a golden breading. For a crunchier effect, I recommend using corn flakes reduced to flour for the breading.

  • Take a breaded ball and with the crease between your thumb and index finger shape it to a point, press slightly with the thumb and index finger of the other hand to flatten

    For cooking in an electric oven, place the Nuggets on a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 20 minutes.

  • Or in an air fryer with a spray of oil, at 392°F for 10 minutes after preheating and halfway through cooking you need to flip them
    You can also cook them in a classic deep fryer at a temperature of 392°F until they appear golden..

  • Transfer the chicken nuggets onto a sheet of absorbent paper to soak up the excess oil.
    Serve hot with a side of baked potatoes or salad.

    Then add the breadcrumbs, half a teaspoon of salt, a pinch of pepper, and spices.
    Mix for 2 minutes at speed 5.
    Transfer the mixture into a bowl, knead, and form balls about 0.75 inches in diameter.
