Orange Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/3 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 3 1/2 tbsp milk
  • orange zest
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • salt

  • 1 Kitchen Scale

Steps

Let’s start preparing

  • Let’s start preparing the orange cake; in a bowl, beat the softened butter, sugar, orange zest, and a pinch of salt with the electric mixer for 5 minutes.

    When the mixture becomes pale and frothy, add the eggs.

    Combine the orange juice and milk and mix.

  • Finally, add the sifted flour and baking powder, continue mixing with the beaters to make everything uniform.

    Butter a 8.66 inches pan and pour in the batter.

    Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for about 35 minutes.


    Remove from the oven and let cool.
