- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar (about 8.8 oz (250 g))
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (about 250 g)
- 3/4 cup (12 tbsp) unsalted butter (about 6 oz (170 g))
- 4 eggs
- cup orange juice (freshly squeezed — about 3.4 fl oz (100 ml))
- tbsp + 1 tsp milk (about 1.7 fl oz (50 ml))
- orange zest
- 4 tsp baking powder
- salt

Let’s start preparing the orange cake; in a bowl beat the softened butter with the sugar, orange zest and a pinch of salt with the electric beaters for 5 minutes.
When the mixture is light and fluffy, incorporate the eggs.
Add the orange juice and the milk and mix.
Finally add the sifted flour and baking powder, continue mixing with the beaters until everything is homogeneous.
Butter an 8 2/3 in pan and pour in the batter.
Bake in a preheated conventional oven at 347°F for about 35 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool.Enjoy your meal!!
