Ingredients for Air Fryer Puff Pastry Fans:
- 1 sheet rectangular puff pastry
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Tools for Air Fryer Puff Pastry Fans:
- 1 Knife
- 1 Non-stick baking tray
- 1 Spoon
Steps for Preparing and Cooking Puff Pastry Fans:
In a bowl, mix the granulated sugar and brown sugar well with a spoon.
Unroll the sheet of rectangular puff pastry, then roll it from one long side until halfway, do the same from the other side of the puff pastry.
Cut the pastry into pieces 1/2 to 3/5 inch thick (we got 13 fans).
Dip each puff pastry fan in the granulated and brown sugar, then place them on the air fryer rack with the cut side facing up and press them slightly.
Put the rack in the air fryer, sprinkle them again with sugar and cook at 356°F for 15 minutes.
For perfect cooking, we recommend not using parchment paper on the rack, but placing them directly on it. This way, there is good circulation of hot air that allows even cooking on each part of the fan.
Once removed from the air fryer, sprinkle them again with the sugar mix and let them cool before consuming.
Tips:
For this recipe, you can also use only granulated sugar or brown sugar; if you like, you can add a sprinkle of ground cinnamon to the sugar.
