White Chocolate, Cereal, and Pistachio Bars
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Cost: Low
  • Rest time: 2 Hours
  • Preparation time: 15 Minutes
  • Portions: 8 Pieces
  • Cooking methods: No Bake

Ingredients

  • 14 oz white chocolate
  • 3 cups puffed spelt
  • 1/4 cup pistachio spread

Preparation

  • To make the white chocolate, cereal, and pistachio bars, melt the white chocolate in a double boiler (or microwave). Line a rectangular container with parchment paper and pour in half of the chocolate, ensuring it adheres well to the base and sides, then refrigerate to set.

  • Meanwhile, in a bowl, pour the puffed spelt and pistachio spread. Use a spatula to mix until the spread evenly coats the spelt.

  • Remove the container from the refrigerator and pour in the puffed spelt mixture. Level it out well with the help of a spatula.

  • Cover everything with the remaining melted white chocolate and refrigerate for two hours.

  • After the time has passed, turn the mixture out onto a work surface, remove the parchment paper, and cut the bars with a knife.

  • The chocolate and cereal bars can be stored in the refrigerator for several days, although it will be hard to resist!
