Rustic tuna savory snacks are a tasty and delicious appetizer, perfect for a family dinner or a get-together with friends.
This recipe is very economical yet still elegant. You only need a sheet of puff pastry, and in no time, you’ll have 30 scrumptious and inviting snacks ready to serve.

Ingredients
- 1 roll puff pastry (rectangular)
- 3.5 oz tuna in oil
- 1 cup ricotta
- 1 egg yolk
- to taste black sesame seeds

Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Drain the tuna and place it in a mixer. Blend for a few seconds, then add the ricotta. Continue blending until you obtain a creamy mixture.
Unroll the puff pastry and make 2 cuts starting from the long side. You should get 3 strips.
With the help of a piping bag distribute the tuna cream in the center of the strips. Roll each strip onto itself and place them on a cutting board, with the seam facing down.
Brush the surface of the strips with beaten egg yolk.
With a sharp knife, cut about 10 snacks from each strip. Arrange them on a baking sheet and sprinkle with black poppy seeds.
Bake for 20/25 minutes until golden.
