Today for breakfast I made a tart with quince jam, delicious. The tart is my husband’s favorite dessert, as anyone who follows me knows, and I often make it just for him. But in the end, we all eat it, slice after slice, and he always asks me, “When will you make the tart again?” For the base, I used Classic Shortcrust Pastry. Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 packet baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 5 oz lard
- to taste vanilla
- A few tbsp quince jam

- 2 Baking Pans
- Rolling Pin wooden

Steps
Pour all the shortcrust ingredients into the stand mixer’s bowl, work with the flat beater. The dough is ready when it detaches from the sides.
Wrap it with cling film and let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
After resting, roll out the dough with the rolling pin.
Line the baking pan and add a few spoonfuls of jam.
With the remaining dough, make the classic strips and place them on the tart. Bake at 355°F for about 30 minutes.
