Ingredients

  • 1.6 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1.4 tbsp Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 0.4 cups Milk
  • Lemon
  • 1.76 oz Ricotta

Preparation

  • Pour the flour into a bowl with the yeast and sugar.

  • Add the juice of one lemon, the egg, and the ricotta, add the milk gradually.

  • Knead well, if it’s sticky, add a bit of flour.

  • Take the dough and divide it into 10 pieces, make ropes and overlap the ends.

  • Heat the oil, when ready, fry the fritters, turning them until completely golden.

  • Alternatively, you can bake them in a ventilated oven at 356°F for about 15 minutes, no more.

  • If you fried, drain the donuts on a plate with kitchen paper and coat them in sugar.

  • The time to fry all the fritters is approximately 10 minutes if you fry one at a time.
