No-Bake Chocolate Treats

Incredibly delicious no-bake chocolate treats without added sugars, made in just a few minutes without any special tools!

The main ingredients are 2: banana and dark chocolate to which, if desired, you can add shredded coconut, various grains, or flavors.

As I was saying, no specific tools are needed, just a fork to mash the banana; if you want a less rustic result, you can also blend it.

So basically, it’s about melting the chocolate and mixing it with the mashed banana; refrigerate for a few hours and then you can really enjoy them without much guilt.

With the arrival of the hot season, it’s nice to be able to prepare these delights that don’t need the oven, and enjoy them when the craving for sweets hits.

Naturally sweet, because there are no added sugars; in fact, I used 75% dark chocolate … so with a lower sugar load than the usual 50% … but this is a matter of taste. You can also use gianduja or milk chocolate.

So, what do you think of trying the no-bake chocolate treats? I assure you they are really delicious!

Ingredients

  • 3.5 oz 75% dark chocolate
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 1.05 oz 65% dark chocolate

Steps

  • – Mash a banana until it’s pulp and melt the chocolate (in a bain-marie or microwave)

  • – Mix the two ingredients in a bowl with the slivered almonds (minus a tablespoon for decoration) and pour into muffin molds. Refrigerate for 4-5 hours.

  • – Unmold the treats and decorate with a little melted chocolate and the reserved slivered almonds. Store in the fridge

Notes:

– Do not use a banana that is too ripe otherwise they won’t last long in the fridge.

– Store in the fridge for 3 days (having made 3 treats and eating one per day, I’m not sure if they last more days) or freeze them.
