Whole Grain Oats and Lentils One-Pot Dish

Today, a very simple recipe, whole grain oats and lentils one-pot dish, satisfying and light.

Oats, this super energy cereal, is the most protein-rich grain known. Many of us use oatmeal for convenience in morning porridge, desserts, or soups in the evening. But whole grain oats, so good and versatile, are often forgotten, probably because they take a long time to cook, so we opt for flakes.

Today, I will explain a very quick method to have whole grain oats ready in no time.

The only thing to do is soak them overnight, but we already do that with all legumes, right? So it’s simple to do with grains too, just water, a little lemon juice or baking soda, and you can use them the next morning in a pressure cooker for whole grain oats for 15 minutes.

If you don’t have a pressure cooker, no problem, the cooking time just extends to around 45 minutes.
