Do you know eton mess? A delicious English dessert, here in a version of eton mess fat-free, 0 fat!! A small glass of mixed berries alternated with yogurt and some crumbled meringues.
As greedy as I am when I see something that contains fruit and cream, I want to try it. However, I realize when reading the recipes that very often these cup desserts are loaded with sugars and cream. So I tell myself, what’s the point of all this sweetness and cream when you can lightly sweeten and use light alternatives to whipped cream?
So in this spoon dessert, I replaced the cream with an excellent 0 fat Greek yogurt (which is also easily found in a plant-based version).

Ingredients for Eton mess fat-free
- 1 cup 0% fat Greek yogurt
- 3/4 cup strawberries
- 3/4 cup blueberries
- 1/3 cup raspberries
- 4 meringues (small)
Instructions for Eton mess fat-free
Simply alternate in a glass, the 0 fat Greek yogurt with strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, yogurt, and meringue crumbs. If you want to enjoy it for breakfast, you can also skip adding the meringues, save them for decorating the eton mess you will serve at a lunch with friends.
Tips and variations
You can prepare the fat-free eton mess the day before and with any seasonal fruit, the Greek yogurt is also very good in a plant-based version.
Instead of meringues, add some dried fruit or seeds rich in omega three.
