Sugar-Free Oat Baskets

in

Cute and delicious yet light, the sugar-free oat baskets, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Recently, all kinds of recipes with oat flakes are trending on the web, some blend them, others knead them. Sometimes, honestly, they seem like big messes, as oat flakes almost raw can irritate a sensitive intestine.

I wonder why we always have to add sugar, agave, honey, maple everywhere, anyway. In this case, there’s a banana, sweeter than that… sugar isn’t needed. So I tried my very simple version with just two ingredients (banana and oat flakes) and it’s not bad, actually. If you don’t like banana, mix with apple butter. In this version, I cooked them in an air fryer, but you can also bake them in the oven.
