Looking for a super quick treat that everyone will love? Try these super crumbly hazelnut cookies with just 4 ingredients.
I saw the recipe from Erica Liverani where they are called chocolate bones. However, I was scared by the amount of powdered sugar, so I halved the doses. I would have put even less, but it is needed to hold the hazelnuts together, otherwise they would crumble.
The four ingredients are naturally hazelnuts, powdered sugar, egg whites, and cocoa.
Simple and quick to make, they’re addictive. If you’re looking for other gift cookies, check these out:

Ingredients
- 4 cups hazelnuts (peeled and toasted)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 oz egg whites
Steps for Super Crumbly Hazelnut Cookies
In a bowl, pour the hazelnuts. Sift powdered sugar and cocoa and add to the hazelnuts. Mix well.
Slowly pour in the egg whites while constantly mixing.
Spread the mixture on parchment paper and flatten with another sheet of parchment paper on top. Bring to the height of a hazelnut.
Remove the parchment paper and dust with more powdered sugar, section by section.
Let rest for an hour, cut into squares, and place on a clean sheet of parchment paper on a baking tray. Put in a ventilated oven for 15 minutes at 340°F.
Let cool and package.
