Air Fryer Roasted Peppers

Air fryer roasted peppers, a simple, light, and incredibly practical summer recipe, perfect for those who want to avoid turning on the oven or stove on the hottest days.

With few ingredients and quick cooking, you can get soft and flavorful peppers, ready to peel and enjoy in countless ways.

In the summer, I love preparing roasted peppers: they’re versatile, full of flavor, and ideal both as a side dish and as a base for many other preparations. But let’s face it, turning on the oven when it’s over 95°F (35°C) outside isn’t ideal! The air fryer becomes a precious ally: it allows you to cook them perfectly in just 20 minutes, without overheating the kitchen and reducing odors compared to traditional cooking.

Once ready, the peppers are easy to peel and can be seasoned with garlic, fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil, a touch of apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. The result is an aromatic, colorful, and truly irresistible dish, perfect to prepare in advance and enjoy cold.

If you’re looking for an idea to enrich your appetizers, a light side dish, or a tasty base for bruschetta and salads, these air fryer roasted peppers are just what you need. With just a few steps, you can achieve a super easy summer recipe that rivals the classic grill version!
