- 10.6 oz Romanesco broccoli (net weight)
- 9.9 oz potatoes
- 1 tbsp grated Grana Padano
- to taste breadcrumbs
- garlic powder
- herbs (to taste)
- extra virgin olive oil

Preparation
Clean the Romanesco by separating the florets, wash under running water.
Wash and peel the potatoes, cut them into chunks about the size of the Romanesco florets.
Boil both the potatoes and Romanesco in salted boiling water for 7-8 minutes. Drain them and transfer to a bowl (1).
Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and extra virgin olive oil. If desired, add a handful of dried herbs (oregano, thyme, parsley, or others).
Mix well, then add a tablespoon of breadcrumbs.
Grease a baking dish with a little oil and arrange the potatoes and Romanesco with their seasoning.
Sprinkle the surface with more breadcrumbs and the grated Grana (2).
Place the dish in a fan oven at 375°F and bake for about 25 minutes. If necessary, you can turn on the grill in the final minutes.
Baked Romanesco and potatoes gratin are ready, serve hot as a side dish with a nice seasonal main course.
