Let’s see the ingredients we need
- hazelnut flour (2 oz)
- 1 egg
- sugar (1/4 cup)
- seed oil (1/3 cup)
- 2 teaspoons ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- all-purpose flour (1 1/2 cups)

To prepare the cookies, you’ll need a container, a fork, possibly a food processor to grind whole hazelnuts into flour (if you’re not using pre-made hazelnut flour), a baking sheet, and a cookie cutter.
My round cookie cutter has a diameter of 2 1/4 inches
Steps
In a container, beat the egg with the sugar, add the oil and turmeric.
At this point, also add the hazelnut flour. I prefer to buy whole hazelnuts and turn them into flour. Use whichever flour you prefer.
After this step, sift the baking powder and flour and add them gradually, until forming our dough, which will be soft and easily workable with a rolling pin.
Cut the cookies with a cutter of your choice and bake in a preheated convection oven at 350°F for about 15 minutes.
Your cookies will be ready to be enjoyed. With these quantities, you’ll get about 30 cookies.
