Ingredients
Let’s see what ingredients we need to prepare the spaghetti with anchovies
- 8 walnuts
- 12 anchovies (filleted or in oil or desalted)
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- to taste pine nuts
- to taste chopped parsley
- to taste chili pepper (in powder if you like)
- A few drops vinegar (for deglazing)
- 12 oz spaghetti
Tools
- 1 Frying pan
- 1 Pot
- 1 Colander
- 1 Fork
Steps
Take a frying pan, place it on the stove over low heat and add the anchovy fillets in oil or desalted, whichever you prefer to use, the walnut kernels (you can leave them whole or chop them), the pine nuts, the extra virgin olive oil, parsley, chopped garlic, and chili pepper (if you like). In my opinion, a light sprinkle is just right.
Let them blend together for about 5 minutes, when the anchovies have a creamier consistency and are blended with the other ingredients, if you like, turn up the heat under the pan and deglaze with a few drops of vinegar. If you like vinegar, I recommend trying it. If you don’t love it, leave it as is, and don’t add anything for deglazing.
In the meantime, you will have also cooked the pasta, which you will drain and add to the pan.
Add a tablespoon of pasta cooking water. Stir well and serve this SUPER FAST DELICIOUSNESS.
