Ingredients
Let’s see the ingredients needed to make the recipe
- Type 1 flour (2 1/2 cups)
- 1 egg (large)
- sugar (1/3 cup)
- seed oil (1/3 cup)
- 1 tablespoon liqueur (walnut or rum)
- 3 teaspoons hazelnut cream
- orange zest (or a few drops of essence)
- baking powder (1 teaspoon)
- milk (3 tablespoons)
- 1 pinch fine salt

Steps
In a bowl, pour the room temperature egg and sugar. Start blending with a fork and then add the oil and the pinch of salt.
In a small bowl, dissolve the 3 teaspoons of hazelnut cream in warm milk (the classic spreadable type, which you buy at the supermarket) or mine, check out the recipe I leave for you here ➡️HAZELNUT CREAM, add them to the bowl with the other ingredients.
Add the tablespoon of walnut liqueur or whatever you have available such as rum and the grated orange zest. At this point, start incorporating the flour and the 1 teaspoon of baking powder. Knead by hand until you form a smooth and well-combined dough.
Take a baking sheet on which you have placed parchment paper. We will place our pinwheel cookies there as we shape them.
From the dough, break off 20-gram pieces each, stretch to create small rolls of dough that you will roll up on themselves, as shown in the photo below.
When the cookies are ready, we will bake them, in a preheated fan oven at 350 degrees for about 13 minutes.

Storage of Pinwheel Cookies with Oil
The cookies can be stored in a cookie jar for three to four days.
