The Strawberry and Banana Cake in Air Fryer is a soft and delicate dessert, perfect for those who love fruity flavors and light texture. It is prepared with a soft yogurt-based batter, enriched with pieces of strawberries, bananas, and chocolate chips in the dough.
The combination of these ingredients gives the cake a sweet and fresh taste, with a touch of acidity from the strawberries and yogurt. To make it even more delicious, you can decorate the surface with a sprinkle of powdered sugar, as I did.
It is a quick dessert to prepare, simple but very good, ideal for a summer breakfast or snack. You can also serve it with a scoop of ice cream. I cooked it in an air fryer, but if you prefer to use the oven, you can find both cooking methods at the end of the recipe.
Instead of using parchment paper, I opted for a homemade pan release agent: it’s really practical to use and, unlike the method of buttering and flouring the mold, I didn’t dirty anything! I recommend it because it’s very quick to make and the cakes come out perfectly, but if you prefer, you can always use the traditional method.

Preparation of Strawberry and Banana Cake in Air Fryer
Put the sugar in a bowl, add the eggs, yogurt, seed oil, and pinch of salt, then mix the batter with a whisk. Now add the flour and baking powder and mix well until you get a smooth and homogeneous batter.
Add the chopped strawberries and bananas, the chocolate chips, and mix. Then pour the mixture into the mold greased with the pan release agent (or butter and flour) and cook in the air fryer, without preheating, at 320°F for 25-30 minutes.
If you prefer, you can also bake the cake in the oven: it must be preheated to 355°F for 30 minutes.
Do the toothpick test: if it’s baked, remove it and let it rest for 10 minutes, otherwise continue baking for a couple more minutes.
Gently unmold the cake onto a serving plate and let it cool completely, then sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
