Sautéed Spinach

Sautéed spinach, a quick and light side dish that I often prepare when I have little time. You can also use this spinach as a base for other dishes like savory pies, omelettes, or main courses, or in Loin slices with spinach and cheese or in Spinach and ricotta meatballs.

Cooked this way, they are a neutral base, which you can enrich with a sprinkle of grated cheese to make them even tastier.

You can prepare this dish using either the fresh spinach that you find in the bag or frozen spinach (I always have some in the freezer as a backup, so I used those). Obviously, fresh spinach cooks much faster!
