Air Fryer Roast Potatoes

Air fryer roast potatoes that are soft inside and very tasty, a great side dish to pair with both meat and fish. Prepared this way, with little oil but lots of flavor, the potatoes remain soft inside and crispy outside, but not at all dry.

You can add your favorite herbs, this time I used rosemary, chives, and garlic, but sage and parsley also work great. I often prepare this recipe because it’s delicious, inexpensive, and quick to make. I’ll just say that when my mom tasted them, she decided to buy an air fryer too!

The secret to achieving roast potatoes that remain soft and crispy outside is to soak them in cold water. Just leave them there for 30 minutes and make the most of your free time.

How to Prepare Air Fryer Roast Potatoes

  • Wash the potatoes well and cut them into wedges; I left the skin on, but you can remove it if you prefer. Place them in a bowl with cold water and leave them like this for 30 minutes, then drain them.

Dry them with a towel, put them back in the bowl, and season with oil, salt, pepper, and the herbs.

  • Mix well and place them on a sheet of parchment paper. Cook the potatoes at 392°F for 20-25 minutes. The time varies based on the size of the wedges; after 15 minutes, give them a stir and continue cooking.
