Cheese puff pastry breadsticks, crunchy and tasty, perfect for an appetizer or to accompany a plate of cold cuts. They are prepared in very little time, and I must say they are really good because the grated parmesan makes them very flavorful.
I cooked them in an air fryer, but you can also make them in the oven. At the end of the recipe, you’ll find both cooking methods.
If you’re considering purchasing an air fryer, you’ll find the links below in the recommended tools section.
I made these breadsticks for a quick appetizer with friends, just the way I like it: few things but good ones! I served them with Chickpea Hummus, cheese cubes, and olives, all ready in a few minutes and all appreciated!

How to Prepare Cheese Puff Pastry Breadsticks
Unroll the puff pastry and moisten the surface with water using a brush.
Sprinkle half of the pastry with the grated cheese and fold the free half over the cheese-covered half, pressing it to make it stick.
Cut strips with a pizza cutter or knife, twist them, then place them on the air fryer rack covered with perforated parchment paper.
Cook in an air fryer at 356°F for 10 minutes or, if preferred, in the oven at 392°F for 12 minutes.
Let them cool before serving.
