Tiramisu Truffles

Tiramisu Truffles are delicious no-bake treats, very simple to prepare and perfect to serve with coffee. Soft and tasty, they are made with the classic ingredients of traditional Tiramisu and will please everyone. The only problem is that you can’t stop at just one!

With the temperatures these days, it’s unthinkable for me to turn on the oven, so I’m experimenting with quick and no-bake desserts. Not that traditional tiramisu is hard to make, but it’s so hot I didn’t even want to make the cream…

In this recipe, you just need to blend the ingredients, make small balls, and roll them in cocoa. I brought these tiramisu truffles to a dinner with friends and they were devoured, so if you want to impress your guests with little effort, I recommend making them.

In the kitchen, let your imagination run wild because it’s essential, and if you don’t have any ideas, follow me, I’ll give you the inspiration!

Tiramisu Truffles
  • Difficulty: Very easy
  • Cost: Very economical
  • Preparation time: 15 Minutes
  • Portions: 25 Pieces
  • Cooking methods: No Bake
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: All Seasons

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mascarpone
  • 2 cups ladyfingers
  • 1 espresso cup coffee
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

How to Make Tiramisu Truffles

  • Place the ladyfingers in a food processor and blend until powdered. Add the mascarpone, sugar, and coffee. Continue blending until you achieve a smooth mixture.

  • Take some mixture and form balls, roll them in cocoa, and place them on a plate, or in paper cups if you prefer. I slightly flattened them with my fingers to give them an irregular shape, like truffles.

Place them on a tray and put them in the fridge for a couple of hours so they slightly firm up. With time, the cocoa will be absorbed, making them darker, just like traditional tiramisu.

Storage

You can store the tiramisu truffles in the refrigerator in an airtight container for a couple of days.
