Feta with Cherry Tomatoes and Onions in Air Fryer

Feta with cherry tomatoes and onions in the air fryer is an incredibly tasty and colorful dish. You can serve it as a main course or as an appetizer, perhaps in single-serving bowls with a quarter of feta each.

The first time I prepared this recipe was last year and I was amazed by its intense flavor and simplicity… the salty taste of the feta pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the other ingredients!

Since I tried it in the basic version, with only feta and cherry tomatoes, I have gradually added flavors, vegetables, or changed the type of cheese. In all cases, I ended up with a delicious and quick dish.

  • 9 oz feta
  • 10.5 oz cherry tomatoes
  • a quarter of red onion
  • chives
  • 1 spray extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

How to Prepare Feta with Cherry Tomatoes and Onions in Air Fryer

  • First, place the feta in the center of a baking dish.

    Slice the onion, quarter the cherry tomatoes and place them around the cheese. Season them with salt but do not put it on the feta, otherwise, it would be too salty.

    Add a grind of black pepper and some chives, a light spray of oil, and cook in the air fryer at 356°F for 15 minutes. The cheese should be slightly golden.

    Serve warm or at room temperature.
