Waffles are breakfast or brunch treats, perfect to enjoy with chocolate or maple syrup.
I often make them on Sundays when we have more time to have a leisurely breakfast. Moreover, I couldn’t wait to use my new heart-shaped electric waffle maker, it’s super convenient and I don’t even risk burning them.
They are similar to pancakes but you can also enjoy them with savory items like bacon and eggs, and they’re not bad at all! However, I prefer to enjoy them with a glass of milk, a generous spread of hazelnut cream, and banana slices or with maple syrup!
In the kitchen, set your imagination in motion because it’s essential and if you have no ideas, follow me, I’ll give you inspirations!

How to Make Breakfast Waffles
In a bowl, break the egg, add the sugar and oil, and mix with beaters. Add the milk, flour, and baking powder. Stir until you get a smooth batter.
You can choose whether to cook them in the electric mold like I did:
Put a couple of tablespoons of batter into the molds, close the machine, and let it cook for a couple of minutes.
In the oven:
Place a couple of tablespoons of batter into the molds and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
Remove the waffles from the molds, place them on a serving plate, and serve them with your choice of toppings.
