The Ricotta and Chocolate Crumble is a cake similar to a tart, cooked in an air fryer. This cake, crispy on the outside, hides a soft and very tasty filling.
The crumble dough is easy to make, there is no need to roll it out with a rolling pin because you just need to get some crumbs and put them in the pan. A delicious recipe, easy and therefore ideal even for beginners with desserts.
For convenience, I used chocolate chips but you can replace them with the same amount of chocolate and chop it.
For this recipe, I used a square 8×8 inch paper mold, but it would be better to use a round one, 8 inches, even better if made of metal, so that the cake comes out more precisely in shape.

How to prepare Ricotta and Chocolate Crumble in Air Fryer
Put the ricotta in a bowl, add the sugar, chocolate chips, mix everything with a spoon and set aside, the filling is already ready.
In another bowl, put the flour, sugar, baking powder, butter cut into small pieces, and the egg. Mix with a fork or your hands, you need to get a crumbly dough as in the photos.
Put half the mixture in the pan, compact it a bit and cover it with the filling. Spread it on the base using a spoon, leaving a centimeter of edge free. Cover with the rest of the crumbs without compacting them and bake at 340°F for 22 minutes.
Having used a paper mold, I tried to give it a more defined shape by pressing the edges a bit, if you use a more rigid mold than mine it’s better.
Let the cake cool completely before removing it from the mold.
The cooking times may vary depending on the model of air fryer you have, always check the cooking.
