The Savory Pie with Ham and Cheese is the simplest you can make. Made with only 3 ingredients, it’s very tasty, perfect for children, to take on a picnic or for lunch at the office.
It’s a very quick recipe to prepare and doesn’t make a mess, I used shortcrust pastry but if you have puff pastry at home, that works just fine too.
I completed the dish with salad and tomatoes, but of course, you can pair it with another side dish!

How to Prepare the Savory Pie with Ham and Cheese
Preheat the oven to 356 degrees.
Unroll the shortcrust pastry and place it in a baking tray with its parchment paper. Add the cheese slices on one half of the pastry and then place the cooked ham slices on top. Make cuts on the free half with the appropriate tool (you can skip this step if you prefer) and cover the filling with the pastry. Seal the edges well with the tip of a fork and bake in a static oven for 25 minutes.
Let the savory pie cool slightly before slicing it and serving.
