Salmon and puff pastry are ingredients that cannot be missing from holiday tables, and here is this delicious recipe for a tasty appetizer.
Usually, for Christmas lunch, I take care of snacks and appetizers, which are my favorite course. I always plan well in advance what I need to cook, trying to vary ingredients and preparations because I find it unpleasant to end up eating 10 different appetizers in shape but with similar ingredients or all based on puff pastry, bread, crackers, and mini pizzas… For this reason, you can pair this puff pastry appetizer with goat cheese bites with herbs, the jelly canapés, the prune and bacon rolls, and the seafood salad.
All different dishes that go well together.
This is a really simple snack that the whole family will enjoy. In the kitchen, unleash your creativity because it is essential, and if you don’t have ideas, follow me, I will give you the inspiration!

How to Prepare Puff Pastry Christmas Trees with Salmon
Unroll the puff pastry and cover it with the spreadable cheese, creating an even layer.
Add the slices of salmon until they cover the entire pastry.
Cut strips about 3/4 inch wide from the longer side, each strip will be a tree.
Start with the first: fold a strip of puff pastry into a small square, then fold it the other way into a slightly larger rectangle, and keep folding in increasingly longer sections until forming the tree.
Skewer each tree with a stick and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Heat the oven to 356°F with a fan setting and bake the puff pastry trees with salmon for about 20 minutes.
