Ricotta Brownies are delicious American chocolate treats, moist inside but with a nice crust on the surface that you can also cook in an air fryer, as I did. The original version of these desserts requires a lot of butter, but in this recipe, I mostly replaced it with ricotta to make them lighter and keep them soft.
Of course, if you don’t have an air fryer you can also bake these ricotta brownies in the oven, at the end of the recipe, you’ll find the baking instructions.
If you’re considering purchasing one, I recommend an air fryer like mine; you can find the link in the recommended tools!

I’ve made many brownie recipes, and what I love about this dessert (besides the chocolaty taste that’s a delight) is the texture, moist and not at all dry. It’s easy to prepare; it’s a square cake cut into pieces, and it’s really a dessert everyone likes; after all, who doesn’t love chocolate?

How to Prepare Ricotta Brownies in Air Fryer
Melt the butter and put it in a bowl, then break the eggs, add the milk, ricotta, and sugar. Mix well and add the flour, the pinch of salt, the baking powder, and the cocoa.
Blend with the beaters until you get a smooth batter, then add the walnut kernels, the chocolate chips, and mix well.
Line a 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper, pour the batter, and level it with a spatula or a spoon.
Bake the brownies for 20 minutes at 300°F, check the cooking with a toothpick and, if necessary, add 1 or 2 minutes. Do not overbake this dessert because it should not dry out.
Once baked, let it cool completely and then cut it into pieces.
Notes
You can store these treats in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days.
