Paprika Chicken Bites

Paprika chicken bites, a very light and tasty main course that can be prepared with any vegetable side dish, and if paired with a plate of rice, it becomes a complete meal.

In a diet plan, chicken is never missing, but eating it the same way every time (pan-fried chicken breast) can get a bit boring. Here’s how to change the look and taste of a dish with just the addition of spices.

You can also use these chicken bites in a rice salad; for example, I used white rice, sautéed zucchini, mozzarella balls, halved cherry tomatoes, a drizzle of olive oil, and these bites—all cold, of course!

Ingredients

  • 1.1 lbs chicken breast
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika
  • 1 drizzle extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsps water
  • salt
  • pepper

How to prepare Paprika Chicken Bites

  • First, cut the chicken breast into slices, then cut the slices into strips and get bites of about 1 inch.

Put a drizzle of oil in a large pan, and when it’s hot, add the bites, browning them well by turning them over, and cook with the lid on for 8 minutes.

Put the 2 tablespoons of water in a glass, add the paprika, stir well, and pour over the bites, turning them over to absorb the seasoning evenly.

Adjust with salt and pepper and continue cooking for 2 minutes. Serve the chicken hot or let it cool and use as suggested above.

Your Questions
