- Half teaspoon cornstarch
- 9 tbsp butter (cold)
- 5 tbsp water (cold)
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
- Half teaspoon salt
How to Prepare the Savory Pie Dough – Quick and Foolproof
Put the flour, cornstarch, and salt in the food processor. Add half of the butter cut into cubes and blend for a few seconds. Remove the lid, add the remaining butter pieces, and blend again. Add the vinegar and water, and blend for a few more seconds.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and work it with your hands to form a ball, flatten it, and wrap it in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least an hour before rolling it out for your desired recipe.
