Ingredients
- 2 fennels
- 1 red onion
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- rosemary
- balsamic vinegar
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation of Caramelized Fennel and Red Onions
Clean the fennels by removing the stalks, wash them and cut them into thin wedges.
Place them in a baking sheet.Clean the onion, slice it and add it to the fennels.
Season everything with brown sugar, a bit of chopped rosemary, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, and a pinch of salt, mixing thoroughly.Bake in a preheated convection oven at 356°F (180°C) for half an hour.
Take the baking sheet out and season with a dash of balsamic vinegar, mix, and put back in the oven for another five minutes.
Serve your caramelized fennel and red onions hot or warm.
