The homemade mixed savory snacks are delicious, quick and extremely tasty little salty cookies of many flavors, prepared in a few minutes with few and simple ingredients. Many of you will remember my beloved (and super imitated) glass savory snacks, I don’t know how many I’ve made, I almost always brought them when invited by friends and relatives, they always asked for them, here is a small variant that I prepared some time ago (with all the measured doses), one dough, 3 different flavors! These mixed savory snacks are without puff pastry, super tasty and delicious, perfect as nibbles for an aperitif or for a party or buffet with many people, forget the packaged ones, you won’t buy them anymore! Also, you don’t need special molds to make them, just a simple bottle cap, they keep crunchy for days, so you can also prepare them in advance (for example, I find them perfect for the Christmas holidays, whether it’s Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day, these should definitely not be missing)!

Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 1/2 oz bacon
- 1 3/4 oz pitted olives
- 1 3/4 oz unsalted pistachios
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet instant baking powder for savory preparations
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
Steps
The homemade mixed savory snacks are very simple and quick to prepare, first put the flour, grated Parmesan cheese, baking powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl and quickly mix.
Add the eggs, milk, extra virgin olive oil and form a soft and compact dough.
Divide the dough into 3 parts: in one add diced bacon, in another chopped pitted olives, and in the last, chopped pistachios.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the doughs to about half a cm thick (about 1/4 inch) and, with a bottle cap (flour it first), cut out the mixed savory snacks. If the snacks get stuck in the cap, remove them with a toothpick.
Place the mixed savory snacks on a non-stick baking tray (if you want, you can also put a sheet of parchment paper underneath) and bake them in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 15/20 minutes, they should be golden.
Advice:
The mixed savory snacks keep at room temperature for 3/4 days. Seal them in an airtight container (after letting them cool completely) to keep them fragrant, tasty, and crunchy. Of course, you can customize them with the ingredients you prefer, nuts, sausages, sun-dried tomatoes, other cold cuts, feta, cooked vegetables, or aromatic herbs.
