I had some pre-cooked broccoli and sautéed them in a pan with oil and garlic. I also added some roasted sausage, creamy stracchino, and used Mulino Bianco flatbreads as the base, soft, fragrant and delicious, thanks to the addition of rosemary and black pepper in the dough. Ingredients
- 12 oz broccoli (cleaned)
- 12 oz sausage
- 7 oz stracchino
- 3 Mulino Bianco Flatbreads
- 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- to taste salt
Steps
The Broccoli and Sausage Flatbreads are very simple and quick to prepare; first, clean the broccoli and boil them in salted water for 10/15 minutes, check the cooking by piercing them with a fork.
Pour the extra virgin olive oil into a pan and sauté the garlic clove, add the broccoli and brown them for 5 minutes, then set aside. In the same pan, cook the sausage, removed from the casing and crumbled, until well browned.
Heat the flatbreads for 90 seconds on each side. Spread some stracchino over half of each flatbread, add the broccoli, and also the roasted sausage.
Fold the Broccoli and Sausage Flatbreads in half and then half again, and enjoy their full flavor.
