Oat Squares

The oat squares with bananas, peanut butter, and chocolate are delicious treats that are quick to prepare. I had an open package of oats and in just 5 minutes, I made these delightful sweets perfect for breakfast, a snack, or as a treat. Soft, light, fragrant, and delicious, the oat squares are great on their own and perfect for dipping in milk or cappuccino, one leads to another!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups oats
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsps peanut butter
  • 2 tbsps maple syrup
  • 1 banana (ripe)

Steps

  • ● The oat squares are super easy and quick to prepare, first peel the banana and mash it with a fork.

  • ● Add the peanut butter, maple syrup, and mix, add the oats, dark chocolate chips, and combine everything well.

  • ● Transfer the mixture into a pan lined with parchment paper and level it well, bake the dessert in a preheated oven at 392°F for 15 minutes, then remove it from the mold and cut the oat squares.

Notes:

The oat squares keep at room temperature for 3 days. You can enrich them by adding dried or dehydrated fruits as you like. You can substitute maple syrup with honey
