Chicken strips with mushrooms are a very simple and quick main course with a side dish to prepare. I had some chicken breast and a few pleurotus mushrooms to cook and I thought of making a one-pot dish, cooking everything together, I seasoned both the chicken and the mushrooms with some seasoned breadcrumbs and…What a delight! The chicken strips with baked mushrooms are tender, very tasty, delicious and with a crispy coating, you can also cook them in an air fryer, you will have dinner ready in a few minutes with just a few simple ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 28.2 oz chicken breast
  • 17.6 oz Pleurotus mushrooms
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 0.44 cup parmesan
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 sprig parsley
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • to taste spices
  • to taste oregano

Steps

  • Chicken strips with mushrooms are very simple and quick to prepare, first cut both the chicken breast and the pleurotus mushrooms into small pieces, put them in a bowl and season them with salt, pepper, and spices to taste (I used rosemary and thyme).

  • Add chopped garlic and parsley, grated parmesan, breadcrumbs, oregano and mix all the ingredients well.

  • Transfer the chicken strips with mushrooms to a non-stick baking pan and spread them evenly, then bake them in a preheated oven at 392 degrees Fahrenheit for about 25 minutes, they should be golden.

Tips:

Chicken strips with mushrooms can be stored at room temperature for a few hours or in the fridge for a couple of days. For this recipe, you can use any mushrooms you prefer, champignons or mixed mushrooms are also good, even frozen ones (let them thaw first).
