Ingredients
- 7.1 oz provolone cheese
- 5.3 oz cooked ham
- 1.8 tbsp butter
- 12 cherry tomatoes
- 2 sheets puff pastry
- as needed lettuce
Steps
The puff pastry sandwiches are very easy and quick to prepare, first melt the butter in the microwave or in a bain-marie. Unroll a sheet of puff pastry and place it on a baking tray, brush the surface with half of the melted butter, overlap the second sheet, matching it perfectly and remove the top parchment paper.
Brush the surface with the remaining melted butter and cut the pastry into 6 parts vertically and 3 horizontally, without dividing them, during baking, as they rise, they will separate.
Bake the puff pastries in a preheated oven at 392°F for about 20 minutes, they should be golden.
Once cooked, separate the puff pastries and open them, pressing lightly in the center, then fill them with a piece of provolone, cooked ham, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes.

The puff pastry sandwiches can be kept at room temperature for a few hours or in the fridge for a couple of days. You can fill them with the filling you prefer.
