Puffed Rice Treats with Pistachio

The puffed rice treats with pistachio and white chocolate are no-bake sweets that are super quick and delicious, made in 5 minutes with only 3 ingredients. At the supermarket, I picked up a package of puffed rice to make a Christmas dessert and then thought of making a cake with pistachios and white chocolate which I cut into squares. But the goodness? The puffed rice treats with pistachio are also perfect as a Christmas gift idea and ideal to put in the Epiphany stocking, they keep for many days and are really delicious!

Ingredients

  • 5.3 oz pistachio cream
  • 5.3 oz white chocolate
  • 3.5 oz puffed rice
  • 5.3 oz white chocolate
  • 1.4 oz pistachio cream (for decoration)

Steps

  • The puffed rice treats with pistachio are very simple and quick to prepare. First, melt the white chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. If the pistachio cream is not creamy enough, heat it for a few seconds, always in a double boiler or microwave.

  • Add the pistachio cream to the melted white chocolate (if you want to make it at home, you can find my recipe HERE) and mix the two ingredients well, then add the puffed rice and combine everything.

  • Transfer the mixture into a mold lined with plastic wrap and level it well. Melt the white chocolate (always in a double boiler or microwave), pour it over the dessert, distribute it evenly over the entire surface, and with the remaining pistachio cream, draw lines. You can let it fall with a teaspoon or put it in a piping bag without a tip as I did.

  • Use a toothpick to move the chocolate and pistachio to create a marbled effect. Let the dessert solidify at room temperature for at least 30 minutes (or in the fridge for 15/20 minutes to speed up), then cut it into pieces, and here are the puffed rice treats with pistachio and white chocolate ready.

Tips:

The puffed rice treats with pistachio and white chocolate can be kept at room temperature for a couple of weeks. They are perfect as gifts to put in the Epiphany stocking. If you like, you can also replace the white chocolate with milk or dark chocolate, but with the white, they are spectacular! If you like, you can also cut bars instead of squares.
