Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (rectangular)
  • 7 ladyfingers
  • Nutella
  • milk
  • brown sugar

How to Make the Ladyfinger and Nutella Strudel

  • Unroll the puff pastry on the work surface, leaving it on its baking paper.
Fold it into three equal parts along the longer side and then unfold the puff pastry rectangle: in this way, you can follow the lines formed by the folds to guide you in the preparation.
Spread a thin layer of Nutella on the central part of the puff pastry.

  • Place the ladyfingers on the Nutella, side by side, starting from one of the long sides of the pastry.
Brush the ladyfingers with a bit of milk and then cover them with a bit more Nutella, spreading it gently to avoid breaking them.
Make stripe cuts on the unfrosted sides of the puff pastry rectangle and then fold, alternating sides, the pastry strips over the filling.

  • Brush a bit of milk on the strudel’s surface and place it on a baking sheet, helping yourself with the baking paper underneath the pastry.
Sprinkle a little brown sugar on the dessert’s surface and bake it in a preheated static oven at 350°F for about twenty-five minutes, until golden.
Remove from oven, let it cool slightly, and slice your ladyfinger and Nutella strudel.
