Broccoli and Sausage Skillet

Broccoli with sausage in a skillet is a rustic and tasty main course, typical of peasant tradition. It is a quick preparation that enhances a few bold-flavored ingredients, a different version of pan-fried broccoli with anchovies.

The sausage must be well browned, while the broccoli is divided into florets and briefly blanched in salted water. This way, they will better absorb the flavors in the skillet without falling apart.

Great as a main course, but also perfect as a pasta topping, sandwich filling, or a rich side dish accompanied by rustic bread for the classic “scarpetta.”
