Ingredients
- 7 oz sausage
- 1 clove garlic
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
- 2 sheets puff pastry (rectangular)
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 5 oz stracchino cheese
- 1 egg (for brushing the surface)
- to taste sesame seeds
How to Prepare Spinach and Stracchino Puff Pastry Bites
Cook the spinach in a pan with a clove of garlic, a drizzle of olive oil, and a pinch of salt. Once done, chop the spinach with scissors in a bowl, then add the crumbled sausage.
Place the first sheet of puff pastry on a baking tray and sprinkle with breadcrumbs over the entire surface.
At this point, fill with spinach and sausage, and also add the stracchino cheese.
Cover the filling with the second sheet of puff pastry, making holes with the tines of a fork. Also, close the edges well.
Brush the surface with beaten egg and garnish with a few sesame seeds.
Make light cuts on the surface and bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes.

It can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. If you don’t like sausage, you can replace it with bacon or speck.
