I often buy spinach; I really like them sautéed in a pan with a pat of butter and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. I also use them to prepare a quick omelet or as a simple side dish for a slice of meat. They are practical, perfect for many recipes, and help me solve many dinners.
However, the other day I found some Swiss chard on sale and thought of bringing them home to prepare a different side dish. This is how these sautéed Swiss chard with tomatoes were born, a very quick, delicious, and really easy recipe to make. An economical dish that pairs perfectly with both meat and fish, but it’s also great simply with some bread for a light dinner, maybe with a hard-boiled egg and a piece of fruit.
