Ingredients

- as needed jam
- 1 1/2 tbsp butter
- as needed brown sugar
How to make the jam puff pastries
Let’s start preparing the jam puff pastries. Melt the butter in a double boiler or in the microwave, unroll the rectangular puff pastry, cut it into 4 rectangles, and make small cuts on half of each rectangle as shown in the photo.
Brush the puff pastry with the melted butter.
Fold each rectangle over itself and press to adhere.
Place a spoonful of jam in the center of each rectangle; I used strawberry jam.
First fold one half to form a triangle, then fold the other half over, pressing the edges well to seal them so the jam won’t leak during baking.
Turn the pastries so the seam is on the bottom, brush the surface with melted butter and sprinkle with brown sugar.
Bake in a preheated conventional oven at 356°F for 20 minutes. When baked, remove from the oven and let them cool completely before serving, or enjoy them warm.
How to store the jam puff pastries
Store at room temperature for 1 day
